PIH - Pipeline Induction Heat

Overland pipeline construction work is where PIH served its apprenticeship. Since the early 1980's we have been providing induction heating and automated coating services to the main line contractors and today this sector forms a major part of the PIH business profile. Using bespoke but highly developed automatic coating systems PIH offers a coating service that is fast and efficient but also clean, safe and commercially attractive.

All our bespoke equipment is designed to provide high speed and repeatable application of the field joint materials. At the same time the automated equipment is built to reduce material consumption, wastage and hence environmental damage. Automatic application also ensures protection to the health and safety of the coating personnel as well as reducing fatigue that can often lead to errors or indeed accidents.
