PIH is under contract at several spoolbases around the world and is always ready to mobilise to temporary facilities wherever they may be. We understand the realities of firing line type of production and fully realise the implications of cycle-time restraints and the impact on the operation as a whole of production downtime. PIH are committed to maximise production targets and minimise downtime by the provision of 100% back-up of major equipment and a comprehensive spares inventory. In addition, PIH have experience in offline working and the important safety considerations required when working on the pipe stalks whilst online production is ongoing.

It is important to the spoolbase operation, as a whole, to have the ability to support all aspects of coating requirements when online, offline and 24 hour spooling operations are required simultaneously.
